The Voice of the People Voice of the People USA Movement: Fighting Illegal Immigration across the USA
Attention!!!

We at Voice of the People have nothing, I repeat, nothing to do with any hate, white power, nationalist, or Aryan group. It has been brought to our attention that some of these groups have been copying and pasting text from this web site and posting it on their web site! We have absolutely nothing to do with that. It is not what we are about and we do not endorse any stealing of our text and writings for any of these groups use  or self gain. This has nothing to do with race this is simply standing up for the laws of our U.S. citizens. This is legality vs illegality.

Thank you,

Voice of the People USA PAC

Two area congressmen and their challengers in November’s election agree that language requirements in applying for a driver’s license are too lax.
“That’s outrageous,” U.S. Rep. Tim Holden, D-17, said Thursday when discussing policies that allow the use of an interpreter during both the written and skills portions of a driver’s license test.
Holden and his Republican opponent in the November election, Toni Gilhooley, both said Thursday that English should be recognized as the “official” language of the United States, which would, among other things, require everyone to speak and read English when applying for a license. Read More...

First, I would like to apologize for the lack of up dates on the site. I would also like to thank everyone for the calls and e-mails, my baby daughter, Emma, is doing wonderful and is the best thing to happen to me! Now, By the end of the weekend VOPUSA PAC will be announcing our schedule for fundraisers we are holding in support of Mayor Lou Barletta and State Rep. Chris Hackett. We are holding five for each candidate all over the districts.
We will also be releasing details about our Wilkes Barre rally happening on August 16th at Public Square. All I will say now is that we have MANY issues to cover, illegal immigration will be discussed, but we have much, much more to attack. It will be worth the wait, I assure you.

Best Regards,

All employers in the United States must have their workers complete a short form to prove they are eligible for employment.
Hazleton Mayor Lou Barletta wants businesses to follow the law — and asked them to promote the fact that their employees are documented workers.
Barletta, with the help of representatives from an employment verification service, issued the “Lou Barletta I-9 Challenge” on Tuesday. I-9 refers to the employment eligibility document that must be filled out by all full- and part-time workers.Barletta, whose bid to unseat a 12-term congressman is based largely on his reputation as an anti-illegal immigration crusader, is trying to keep his signature issue alive even as voters turn their attention to the troubled economy and rising gas prices. We would like to thank everyone that made it out for yesterday's event at the Wilkes Barre Court House to protest against Luzurne Counties reassessments. We encourage everyone who believes this was unjust to stand with us on Saturday, August 16th, at 1;00pm at the Public Square  in Wilkes Barre. We want these reassessments overturned, as they are crippling the middle class.
Also, on Monday, August 18th at 1:00pm, Harvey's Lake residents are organizing a march at the Luzurne County Court House. We will be attending, and once again, strongly urge everyone who supports our efforts to stand with us.
